The Avett Brothers rank high on my list of favorite acts. The first time we saw them live was at Summer Camp Music Festival. They played a minor stage at 5:00 on a Sunday but they were the best set of the festival for us that year (keep in mind, Summer Camp is the annual moe./Umphrey’s McGee festival and they are always GREAT). We’ve seen them every time they’ve come to KC since. They haven’t been in KC for a few years and we’re excited to see them back nearby at the Amphitheater in Bonner Springs.
I see I’m repeating myself but if you haven’t seen them you don’t know what you’ve missed. Buy your tickets! If you’ve seen them you know what they’re all about and I’m betting you already have your tickets!
